Well, well, well.........what better way to start my blogging season than with an intimate wedding and one for the ages. Allen and Jennifer's wedding had to be one of the most anticipated events in 2015 for Team Howard Photography. I've been knowing these two for a little over 2 years, and I had no idea they were interested in one another. I still remember the Sunday morning that Jen pulled me to the side at church asking for advice and insight on how my wife and I handled our courtship. I got a glimpse into their love for one another and how they really wanted to honor the Lord in their relationship. It was genuine, pure, and graceful. I was honored when Allen called me to see if I would be their photographer for their "Big" day, and I gladly accepted. Fast forward seven months later; the moment had arrived. On the day of the wedding, they were two excited individuals. Allen had a glow on him, one because he knew he was marrying the woman of his dreams, but also because it was his 40th birthday. She had a smile from ear to ear when I asked if she was ready to walk down the aisle. Jennifer was so laid back and relaxed, much different from the usual bride who is a little nervous and anxious...but no, not Jennifer. The whole day was filled with joy and laughter. Even the rain couldn't stop this day from being a wonderful one. The many smiles and tears on the faces of family and friends throughout the night, expressed the happiness and joy they had for Allen and Jennifer. My team really enjoyed capturing their wedding. I look forward to capturing many moments and milestones for these two as they look to build a family in the future. Jennifer and Allen look forward to a lifetime of love in marriage and being a couple that is committed to glorifying God in every season of their lives.
